Training at the Redoubt Sailing Club
The Redoubt Sailing Club is an RYA Recognised Training Centre, with all courses run by qualified sailing instructors within a safe, inland environment.
A ‘Junior Learn to Sail Course’ is run every May over consecutive weekends for children aged 7-14 years accompanied by parents. Courses are run using Optimists dinghies for the younger children and Toppers for the older ones.
Adult Courses for Beginners & Improvers (RYA Level 1 & 2) are run every Spring and Autumn depending on demand. Single handed Topper dinghies are used for these courses.
